Many thanks to DHPC coaches Peter and Sara S for taking me under their wing and showing me the ropes at Windbank. Other DHPC members were there too so it was great to meet people on the hill and not just in the monthly club nights. Lots of experience to draw on and everyoone was very friendly.
It was my first post CP day out and I was apprehensive but keen to break my duck in a safe way! While waiting for the wind to come on the hill I practiced reverse launches. Later when the wind was suited to my experience, and encouraged by Peter, I made the leap and soared for some time before electing to bottom land near the car. Awesome!
